Yes. CarbonConstruct is purpose-built for the Australian construction industry. Frameworks, units, compliance language and reporting outputs are all tuned to Australian codes and ratings — NCC 2025, Green Star (GBCA), NABERS, Climate Active and Infrastructure Sustainability (IS) ratings. It is not a repackaged US or UK platform.

Which Australian frameworks does CarbonConstruct support?

NCC 2025 whole-of-life carbon (Section J and beyond), GBCA Green Star, NABERS embodied carbon benchmarks, Climate Active carbon-neutral certification pathways, and Infrastructure Sustainability (IS) ratings. Also aligned to international standards: GHG Protocol Corporate Standard and ISO 14064-1:2018.

Does CarbonConstruct replace a sustainability consultant?

For most reporting workflows — yes. The platform generates board-ready ESG reports, NCC Section J evidence, Green Star submissions and portfolio GHG inventories directly from project data. Where a consultant is still required (for example, formal third-party verification or bespoke strategy work), CarbonConstruct feeds them clean, defensible data instead of you paying the consultant to compile it.

What emissions does CarbonConstruct track?

Scope 1 (direct operational emissions), Scope 2 (purchased energy), and Scope 3 (supply chain and embodied carbon) — all tracked, not estimated. Embodied carbon is calculated against a verified 4,996-material database sourced from NABERS, EPD Australasia, and EC3. Scope 3 is built properly for the construction supply chain, not bolted on as an afterthought.

How is CarbonConstruct different from One Click LCA or EC3?

One Click LCA and EC3 are excellent early-stage embodied carbon tools.
